"The glamour of the East had cast its spell upon him; the mystery of lands in which no white man had set foot since the beginning of things had fired his imagination; the itch of travel was upon him, goading him to restlessness"

Paperchase ONLINE!!!

It was only today i discovered the glory that is Paperchase ONLINE! The haven of all things sparkly, witty and tacky now has an online outlet for me to invest more of my money in.  The store that has bought us pantry peepers, pop owls, Banksy cards and the most beautifully cute diaries known to women is now slowly stocking up for christmas and its got me enchanted more than ever, and the fact i can buy these little treats from the comfort of my bed makes it feel even more special :) These christmas decs are calling out to be sat above the fire or on the spindles of my little christmas tree :)
What a proud stag at christmas (or reindeer... either way!)

I think this christmas my love of the stag may be trumped by the reindeer...
This little Legend of the Guardians lookalike is as beautiful as the film <3

For cute gift ideas, sketch books, the odd postcard for whatever reason!... this is definitely the place on the top of my list.

The beautiful Marrakesh

This is where il be spending the christmas hollidays! The BEAUTIFUL City if Marrakesh in Morocco. To celebrate my turning of 21 (eeeek!) il be jetting off for 5 days to the "Red City" right in the heart of North Africa.

Marrakech has the LARGEST traditional market in Morocco so as you can imagine im overly excited to snap up lots of Moroccon goodies and photograph the beautiful North African atmosphere in one of the busiest squares in the world bustling with acrobats, story-tellers, dancers and musicians, By moon light and lanterns i shall be sampling the rich foods from the food stalls open in the square turning it into a huge open-air restaurant. I can feel my senses tingling already!

images from Flkr.

I will be staying at Le Riad Monceau. A traditional Maroccon Riad Right in the heart of the old town, just a stones throw from the sights and smells of the city. Riad Monceau is a true gem of Hispano-Moorish architecture. This quote from their website gives me goose-pimples with excitement!

"You will be enchanted by the refreshing cool and dazzling luminosity of the Andalusian patio, paved with Carrare marble and boasting a fine swimming pool inlaid with traditional mosaic, by the spacious sun-drenched terraces with views of the Koutoubia and the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas, and by the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, where you can savour the very finest in Moroccan cuisine."

And the search continues...

To continue my Obsession with Taxidermy stags heads and old deer's Antlers i just cant get enough!!! and it seems the craze is catching on! Shop windows are now featuring the stunning deers antlers in all shapes and sizes, as well as brand displays in the beautiful SELFRIDGES store in Birminghams Bull-ring.

When walking home the other day i spotted this AMAZING shop window display by JD sports in Southampton. LOVE IT!!! The use of antlers as a concept for wings on trainers! amazing idea, perfect for Autumn/Winter.

Even North Thailand are sharing my love with this picture taken by Natasha Clarke on her recent trip check out her blog at www.fashionfadesbutstyleiseternal.blogspot.com.

Beautiful for Autumn Winter these just make me want to snuggle up in front of the fire in an Old British Castle. Either that or in my ditatched house... in East Haddon... in Northampton... Either will do.  ; )

 My obsession and search continues...

Chipped Nail Polish from New York Fashionistas

According to Antonia O’Brian a craze is spreading through New York and the fashionistas are loving the chipped nail varnish look.

Yes chipped and supposed to look chipped!

It’s supposed to signify that you are much to busy and fabulous to have a manicure every week. This trend has made a come back from 2008 when it tried to emerge then. Maybe it will be more successful the second time around! This trend definitely works for me as someone who’s nails only seem to stay neatly polished for about a day after application. Lets hope it catches on and this trend sticks around :)

My Bloom Magazine highlights.

I had to share this amazing website with you all:

www.bloom-magazine.eu/librarie (Its a french magazine, hence the library spelling!)

These are just a few examples of the beautiful images that caught my eye today during my InDesign Lecture.  You may not always be able to see at first glance but each image contains flowers or plants in bloom in some way or another in the photograph. The environments and compositions are really exciting and compliment the flowers beautifully. Each issue is entitled to suit the photography inside. If your a creative, this will really get your juices flowing!

So proud

Going to these I.T lectures is well worth it sometimes to find little treasures like these ;)

Fierce kittens by VALENTINO

I was a fan of kitten heels... about 8 years ago! until now i have never wished them upon anybody! Even i, who admittedly struggles for over an hour in a pair of heels, kittens are NOT the answer.

UNTIL NOW. Finally some kitten heels that are acceptable. These Fierce ones i found uploaded to Twitter by NET-A-PORTA by the lovely Valentino. At least someone's getting it right.

Get me a pair of these in exchange for a night in painful heights any day.
